Super Bowl Predictions

Post by Conquerer Hades on July 25th 2016, 9:31 pm

I know it's a long shot but I am picking my Redskins to win the Super Bowl over the Chiefs. If you think about it, the 'Skins are in a division that could be pretty weak - the Eagles will suck, the Cowboys will suck if they have any injuries on offense because their defense is terrible, the Giants probably won't be very good. Josh Norman will make a huge impact for the Washington secondary. So the 'Skins should win the division and make the playoffs. The NFC will have some really good teams in the playoffs- Arizona, Seattle, Green Bay, Minnesota, Washington and Carolina would be my guess. Same teams as last year. I think the 'Skins will pull some upsets and win the NFC. If they can get to the Super Bowl, well, I think whatever NFC team makes it will win. The AFC is a lot weaker this year. Denver will not be a playoff team. New England probably will. So there is my prediction- Washington over KC.

Sorry pal but the Cowboys will win the division but will unfortunately lose in the wild card round to Minnesota. I predict the Cardinals beating the Panthers with a game winning field goal in the NFC championship game and then they go on to beat Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.

The NFC will be tough. I agree it will be the same 6 teams as last year, but the Giants and/or Cowboys could threaten the Redskins in the East. The AFC should be an easier path. I'm going with the Vikings to beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl by a score of 24-21. SKOL!!!

Giants!! It would be great to get back to the Super Bowl. The pieces are there. The defense will be a hell of a lot better this year.

Whu-whu-wh-whut? LOL you're high. The Eagles have zero chance of even making the playoffs.

There ya go. Finally someone with some sense around here. Take a look at the AFC West and tell me the Raiders don't have a legit shot. The Chiefs will be pretty good but Denver and San Diego wont be playoff caliber teams this year. Raiders are on the rise. The offensive line will be awesome with the addition of Osemele, which will give Carr more time to work. Carr in year 3 will be better although he was great last year. I hope Max McCaffrey makes the team. Would be cool that his brother would be able to see him play in the NFL since Christian plays for Stanford. Watch for Clive Walford to have a breakout season at tight end. The only position I am concerned about is running back. Murray has some good games but is not an all star caliber guy. George Atkinson looks the part but got no carries last year. Taiwan Jones has just 43 career carries in 5 seasons in the league. The only 2 other RBs on the roster are rookies, Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington but I don't see either of them contributing. Washington looks like he'd make a good special team guy though.

Sleazy, hold up just a second. While I do agree with you that the Raiders are on the rise while Denver and San Diego falling off will make it easier for them, I still don't see the Raiders as a playoff team. Not just yet, but I think they are close. Put them at 7 or 8 wins this year and they will be playoff bound NEXT year, but not this year. I think the Chiefs win the division fairly easy this year and go on to lose to New England in the AFC championship game. One good thing for the Raiders is that the AFC is weak in comparison to the NFC.

I agree with you about the Redskins having an easier road to the Super Bowl than most other teams, but I am skeptical about it happening. I'm a fan as well so I would love for it to happen, obviously, but I just don't think that will be the case. Sure they are the best team in the divison, but once they get to the playoffs it gets nasty! They could potentially face Green Bay, Seattle, Arizona, Carolina, Minnesota which are all really really good teams and probably all are better than the Redskins right now.

If I had to put money on a Super Bowl prediction, I guess I would have to take the Packers beating the Patriots. Even without Tom Brady for the first four games, I think the Patriots are still going to be the best team in the AFC.

Don't count the Broncos out just yet. Anything is possible with their defense. Manning played like crap last year and they still won it so lack of a QB might not be a big deal.

No way! The Chiefs will win the division this year and the Raiders will get a wild card spot. I don't see 3 teams from the division making the playoffs. But yeah you're probably right that the falloff probably won't be as bad as most people think for Denver. A good defense can take you a long way.

I don't think the Texans will make it that far either, but it's possible. 49ers have no shot though.

I have been waiting my whole life for the Vikings to win a Super Bowl. I think the last time they made it to one was the same year I was born. I hope the curse ends this year!

At this point I would go Seattle vs NE with Seattle winning.
