I don't follow baseball much nowadays but check the standings once a month. If the Mets make the playoffs then I watch and if not then I don't care.

Same here only White Sox instead of Mets. With the NBA I might watch a Bulls game or two during the season and I keep an eye on the standings but mostly just watch the playoffs. If the Bulls make it that is. And with NHL I follow the Blackhawks but only watch the playoffs. NFL, college football and college basketball are really the only sports I watch religiously nowadays. The NBA and MLB have just changed too much over the years. It's not the same as when I would watch as a kid and young adult.

When I was a kid my family moved a lot. A lot is an understatement. From the time I was born until the time I graduated high school I had lived in 9 different states. I pretty much followed whatever team was there in the city I was in or the team nearest to where I was. So I had a lot of favorite teams growing up. I ended up going to college at UCLA at which point I decided that I needed to pick favorite teams and stick with them. I am now at 35 years as a fan of the Dodgers, and it is good to see them doing well. Keeping pace with the Giants but still got to catch and pass them.

I'm still trying to get use to the Blue Jays being good.

Dodgers got a tough road coming up with a 3 game series against the Giants and then a 3 game series against the Cubs followed by a series with the Rockies.

It would have been cool if the Cubs would have made the World Series last year just because Back to the Future predicted it. Looks like they could do it this year though.

Yeah I could see the Cubs winning it all this year but if I absolutely had to put money on it then I would go with the Nationals.

I hope the Dodgers make the WS so I can go to a game or two. My work usually has free employee tickets for home games.

This season just flew by and now it is almost over but at least we still got the playoffs to go.
